About The Alistair Christl Band
Alistair Christl is a foot-stompin' rockabilly rebel-rouser the likes of which you ain't never seen! Blazing through roots folk, country classics, and his own compositions, Alistair's set is one that brings a new energy to old great music. Finger style guitar playing in the style of Chet Atkins with a raw vocal style (complete with yodeling and screaming), his vintage tone and upbeat act brings a lotta “oomph” to any venue. Joined by Regina rocker, Brian Templeton on upright bass and Jack Diamond on drums. To download music selections and watch video, please check out

About Tanya Cheex
Bend over Ladies and Gentlemen, she'll Tan-ya Cheex! This blonde bombshell is one lethal combination of hip shakin' and heart-breakin'! Tanya staged her first strip show in her neighbour's backyard at the tender age of eight, and is now considered one of the pioneers in the North American Burlesque Revival. She is the Founder and Artistic Director of Canada's longest continuous running troupe, Skin Tight Outta Sight. Tanya's striptease acts span the traditional to the surreal, from Sally Rand fan dances, pyrotechnics to puppetry. She has taken off her clothes during the Calgary Stampede, in NYC, Hollywood, Las Vegas and even the Mojave Desert!
About Sauci Calla Horra

Performer and Producer of Skin Tight Outta Sight Rebel Burlesque, Sauci is her troupe’s minxy mistress of disguises. One moment, she is a prima ballerina en pointe, the next she’s their comely clown of comedy! A social worker by day, burlesque vixen by night, Sauci sees burlesque as a feminist statement, where women can reclaim their sexuality in an entertaining (and titillating!) way. Sauci has performed from coast to coast in both Canada and the USA, including at the L.A. Rock n’ Roll Strip Show, the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, the New York Burlesque Festival, and Toronto’s Spiegel Tent ‘n Tavern at Harbourfront Centre.  She is the Coordinator of The Toronto Burlesque Festival and founded the Toronto Burlesque and Vaudeville Alliance, a web-based forum for burlesque performers and their fans.

The Toronto Burlesque Festival will soon be announcing their 2009 line-up and will bring you the best in the international burlesque scene! Last year's Festival starred Miss Exotic World Burlesque Hall of Fame Title Holders, Michelle L'amour (Chicago), Dirty Martini (NYC), Tigger! (NYC) and Penny Starr Jr. (LA). The Festival also featured Burlesque Artists from across Canada and the cream of the crop of Toronto's alternative performing arts scene! The festival has been featured in The Globe and Mail and on the cover of The Toronto Sun's 24 Hours paper. For 2009, they will continue with amazing performances over FOUR nights and a brand new line-up of workshops for our "Burlesque University," where seasoned performers and laypeople alike can learn the tricks of the trade from the very best artists in the scene! We are also partnering with Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School for a burlesque retrospective Art Show at The Gladstone Hotel. Furthermore, the Festival will feature a photography and burlesque costume exhibit and will include fundraising activities for local charities. New this year will be a Burlesque Marketplace, where local artists can vend their burlesque-related crafts and wares!
